Q: Where is IATSE Ballroom located, and is parking available?

A: We are centrally located in South Philadelphia right off of I-95, I-76, and the Walt Whitman bridge ramp with numerous hotel accommodations in immediate area. Free, on-site parking is available.

 

Q: What are the office hours for IATSE Ballroom?

A: Want to chat? Our office hours are from Tuesday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM.

 

Q: Can we bring in outside catering or desserts to IATSE Ballroom?

A: Anthony's Catering is a full-service catering company. Outside desserts and sweet stations are allowed, but outside food or alcohol is not permitted.

 

Q: How can I schedule a tour or appointment at IATSE Ballroom?

A: Tours are by appointment only Tuesday to Friday, with morning, afternoon, and early evening availability. Contact the office by phone or email info@iatseballroom.com to schedule.

 

Q: What are the capacity minimums and maximums for events at IATSE Ballroom?

A: For Friday, Saturday afternoon, or Sunday events, we require a minimum of 50 guests. Saturday night events have a minimum of 150 guests with both bar and food package. For a full ballroom reservation on any day, the minimum is 150 guests. IATSE Ballroom’s maximum capacity is 280-300.

 

Q: What is included in the site fee, and how does it vary based on the type of event?

A: The site fee varies based on the event type and includes essential items such as linens, parking, AV, PA system, lighting, and amenities. Specifics can be discussed to tailor it to your event.

 

Q: How early can we set up decorations for events at IATSE Ballroom?

A: Decoration setup is permitted 2 hours before the event start time. For weddings, a full-day reservation allows load in to begin at noon.

 

Q:  What types of tables are used at IATSE Ballroom?

A: Guest tables are 72-inch round tables, seating 10 guests comfortably. Station, cake, and gift tables are 8ft, complete with linens and skirts, and high-top tables are integrated into our floor plans.

 

Q: What are the dimensions of the dance floors, and do they vary?

A: Dance floors vary in dimensions based on event needs.

 

Q: What options are available for linens, and what is the cost?

A: View all linen options here. Some options may have an additional cost.

 

Q: What bar options are available at IATSE Ballroom?

A: We offer full premium open bar options, beer and wine, and cash bar options. Contact us for specific details.

 

Q: How much is the deposit, and when is the final balance due?

A: The deposit for a standard affair (non-wedding) is $1,500. The final headcount, menu, and balance are due two weeks before your event date. The deposit for a ticketed event is $3,000.

 

Q: Are outside vendors allowed, and is there a fee associated?

A: Outside vendors are welcome, and while we have a preferred list, you are welcomed to hire any outside vendor.

 

Q: What happens in case of severe weather during an event?

A: In the event of severe weather, an alternate rain date will be selected, the first available.

 

Q: What is the cancellation policy for events at IATSE Ballroom?

A: In case of cancellation, all funds paid to date would be forfeited. No refunds are issued. In the event that the Covid-19 virus or any other public safety crisis prevents both Anthony’s Caterers and the client from hosting the affair, the monies paid to date will be transferred to a mutually agreed upon future event date with no restrictions on year selected. The deposit can also be applied to an off-site catering order.

 

Q: Does IATSE Ballroom provide a day-of coordinator?

A: While we provide floor management and a maître d’ (if applicable). We do not provide event coordinators. For wedding-related inquiries, speak directly with Giovanni.
